Understanding your sensory system, and how it shapes your daily life, can be life-changing, especially if you’ve recently realized that many of your needs have gone unmet for years. At BE ME OT, sensory work is approached with curiosity, compassion, and transparency and Jenna will work with you to build environments that support (not suppress) your needs.
EXPLORE YOUR SENSORY WORLD WITH NEW EYES
Sensory consultations are an opportunity to deepen your understanding of your sensory preferences, identify where mismatches are happening in your daily life, and collaboratively create strategies that help you feel more regulated, grounded, and supported in your various daily environments. This process is not clinical or prescriptive—it’s personalized, strengths-affirming, and rooted in the belief that your sensory needs are real, valid, and worth meeting.
Who is it for?
Adults who are exploring their sensory needs, including those who suspect unmet sensory needs.
Adults who newly identify/are recently diagnosed with ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Parents and caregivers who have different sensory needs than their children and want to better understand their family dynamics.
Teachers and childcare providers who recognize sensory mismatches in their classrooms or learning spaces and want to support both themselves and their students.
What are the benefits?
Insight into your unique sensory profile and patterns.
Language to describe your sensory experiences/preferences with confidence.
Strategies to reduce sensory overwhelm and improve daily comfort.
Better alignment between your sensory needs and your home, work, or community environments.
Increased self-advocacy and communication skills.
Gentle, non-judgmental support from a neurodivergent occupational therapist who “gets it”.
What to expect?
Personalized email communications to complete the Sensory Profile, a detailed report integrating scores and their meanings, a 45-minute virtual debrief, and a collaborative brainstorm session to discuss how you can better get your sensory needs met in each environment.
